We live in an ocean all of our own
As fish in the sea, as birds all at home,
An atmosphere clear, a temperate zone
Alive, we survive in a gaseous sea.

The plant and the bird life happened upon
Breathing and basking beneath their God’s sun
All making for oceans above, on the run,
Full hoping, strive we to our eternity.

Though few ever make it, though most never do,
For failure to seek the One Who is True
The Way of faith, the birthing anew
These seas above me mark His grace as free.
